The founders of EDIT came from the New York educational system and the Information Technology industry.
The founder of EDIT, Kevin D. Hart, a former IBM robotics programmer in the seventies, developed new technology systems and programs that integrated learning modalities for students with learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder, and gifted children. His programs and network designs were soon in demand in the early 1980's and schools around the country requested his advice and consulting time. Mr. Hart put together a team of professionals to view schools, non-profits and industry holistically and with the goal of targeting a combination of education and technology to the greatest possible benefit of the end user.
EDIT was established as a full service provider of education initiatives and information technology to Education, Government and Business markets with special emphasis on becoming the outsource agent of developing innovative smart technologies and infrastructure planning services.
